- Recent assignments and tests were sent home in "very important" for parents to review and keep in a safe folder at home, but there are still a few that I will be grading over the week that you can view online, but the physical paper will be given back when we are back November 11 (ex. descriptive paragraph, unit 3 math, narrative piece and community test)
- We didn't get to present our MATTER OF FACT projects today like we planned because we stayed focus on watching physical and chemical changes happening "live" in the lab (baking soda and vinegar involved ;o) I will be assessing the other criteria though and the final grade will be put into Genesis after we spend Monday and Tuesday sharing them.
- Mayor McCormac loved us! We asked so many thoughtful questions about community leaders' roles and what goes on in townhall we left them smiling. Video will be posted soon to our schooltube of the trip. Keep a look out! Community Helpers is out next project due on Monday, November 18. Assignment and examples are on our Projectables Tab.
- Kid Blog is a hit! Students are navigating through it and checking out co-learner writings and making meaningful comments. Anytime they are inspired to write, go for it! I must approve before it's published, but you can guarantee I will be checking in!
- Website tweaking may occur as I try to make it as smooth as possible to navigate. We are still building up each tab with more and effective resources to use in class and extend to home practice and connections. Keep checking in!
