The orange book students brought home is our HOMELINKS math curriculum. This is to stay home and to be used as a daily activity with family to reinforce what was learned in class that day. It is ungraded and unchecked because it is for student's responsibilities to "own" their education and know it's meaningful and purposeful for them to do to "be better" at it. I will explain more at parents open house this Thursday at 6:30pm.
