It's time again for a Unit Math Assessment- Monday January 30:
This one will focus:
--measuring line segments using inches to the nearest 1/2 mark and centimeters.
--reading data on charts and filling in information on graphs like line plots
--recognizing differences in shapes (attributes) and how they are also similar
--determining the perimeter and area of rectangular shapes
Using you Homelinks Unit 4 practices and checking in on our Google Classroom Math Folder or Posterboards from the last week will be very helpful in achieving proficiency in these skills!
Also,
students have been give their Moon Calendar to draw their daily observation. Directions to follow are on it, which should be in their back pocket or a sheet protector. But please note, I also encourage them to share any photos, videos, written thoughts they may have as they do it on Kidblog or Google Docs and to be shared with me.
There is a Google Classroom Post that has a Glog set up with lots of references and visuals for them to go to. I'm excited to see and hear their scientific theories on why the moon "changes".
Reminder: Peacemakers In Action Family Project Due next Monday....
