Back To School For YOU!!!!

Tonight is our school's back to school night! Our classroom is fun and full of colorfull learning that is waiting for you! When you walk in our room, the first thing you will notice is the tools and materials. For example, the walls are purple, the reading bins have different shades like a rainbow and our Goal Keeper folders are a plethora of colors. While you won't get to participate in our improv and active games, you will understand the fun that happens around the room with them. When you see Notion Ocean, you might think its a stage. That's because we act out our new vocabulary with skits like pretending to be a community helper. Finally, to keep our mind, body and belongings orgaznied, we have many references and rubrics to "go to" to make sure we stay Thumbs Up! co-learners all day. In fact, when you sit at your child's desk, you will see, hear, touch and feel what we're talking about. So, if your child follows all these "colors", they'll bring 3rd Grade Journeys all year...and maybe you too! (We wrote this as a group descriptive paragraph practice!)
