Well, we made it through the first full week of the 3rd grade! Through many new activities, including Thoughtsicles and Journey Journaling, we got to know more about how learning can be fun. There were also a few hot days that made us feel like it was June again. We made it through and even had some laughter when exploring our room names like Notion Ocean and Explore Shore. Silent Signals helped us to know where and what we needed to do at the moment.
We also understood that learning can be active when we care, share and listen to our co-learners. If not, consequences like sitting in Behavior Bay or another teacher's room takes us away from participating in our Journeys. Overall, we got to know each other alot better!
